Hi, I’m Connor — a Game Mechanics Enthusiast and Interactive Experience Creator currently studying Creative Media & Game Technologies at Saxion University in Enschede.
I specialize in designing engaging systems that challenge players to think, strategize, and adapt. Whether it’s programming robots in a tactical showdown, preparing for wildfires in VR, or leading a time-traveling cat through point-and-click puzzles, I love crafting mechanics that bring games to life.
Over the past few years, I’ve worked in multidisciplinary teams using both Unity and Unreal Engine to prototype, test, and polish gameplay. My strengths lie in mechanic design, UI implementation, and sound/particle effects — but more than anything, I love solving gameplay problems and making ideas feel good when you play them.
When I'm not designing or tweaking mechanics, I’m probably playing strategy games, experimenting with new tech, or looking for inspiration in unexpected places.
Let’s build something fun.
Mechanics first mindset
I love designing systems that challenge players to think ahead, adapt, and master the rules. For me, great gameplay starts with great mechanics.
Built in Unity
With two years of experience in Unity, I’ve worked on a range of projects — from turn-based strategy to VR simulation — turning ideas into playable prototypes.
Collaborative Creator
Working in teams has taught me how to communicate ideas clearly, iterate fast, and collaborate across art, engineering, and design.
Spawn a Conversation
Have a project, collaboration, or opportunity to discuss? I'm always excited to connect with fellow game developers, designers, and industry professionals.
Whether you want to chat about game mechanics, strategy design, or just geek out over game development, feel free to reach out! I’d love to hear from you.
